Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account data: username, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and an email address only if you choose to give one. If you register without an email, we generate an unusable placeholder.
- Activity you create: favourites, follows, likes and comments.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page. This is standard server and analytics data.
- Cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in, a cookie storing your consent choice, and analytics cookies.
What we do not collect
We never ask for or store payment card details, government ID numbers, or your real name.
Why we use it
- To run your account and show your favourites and follows.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse and spam.
- To understand which pages are popular, in aggregate.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic in aggregate. Google processes this data on its own terms; see Google’s privacy policy. You can block it with any standard ad or tracker blocker, or by declining non-essential cookies.
Third-party links
Download links point to services we do not operate. Once you leave Tik HUB, that service’s own privacy policy applies. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, what they collect.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We disclose data only where legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of the site and its users.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account. Write to [email protected] from the email on the account, or include your username. Deleting your account removes your profile, favourites and follows.
Children
This site is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, tell us at [email protected] and we will remove it.
