Tik HUB respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe material shown on this site infringes your copyright, send us a notice and we will act expeditiously.
How to send a takedown notice
Send your notice to [email protected]. To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on https://xxxdown.org of the material you want removed. A notice without specific URLs cannot be processed.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
What happens next
- We review every complete notice and normally remove or disable the reported URLs within 2–5 business days.
- Because we do not host the files themselves, removal here does not delete the file from the third-party host. To have the file itself deleted you must also contact that host directly.
- We record the notice so the same material is not re-listed.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including your signature, the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court.
Repeat infringers
Accounts and submission sources that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
Misuse
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that content is infringing may be liable for damages.
